Ize Press, Yen Press’s imprint for Korean comics and novels, recently announced the addition of four new manhwas to their catalog at their Anime Expo panel this year. The titles that will receive English print releases are:
Itaewon Class
In a neighborhood known for its diversity, delicious food, and spunk, ex-convict Park Saeroyi works to put his hole-in-the-wall pub on the map. This is just one step in his 15-year plan to live a life that would have made his father proud. As his pub attracts its own unique crew, Saeroyi embarks on the next phase: taking down the very family who stole his father away from him. It’s time for revenge and to prove to the world what he’s worth.
Itaewon Class can be read digitally on Tapas.
The Uncanny Counter
In this world and the next, both good and evil exist. But who do you call when evil spirits from the afterlife escape to prey on innocent human lives? You call the Counters, people with supernatural abilities, who also happen to run a noodle shop. When one’s killed, an ordinary high school student is unexpectedly chosen to take their place. The seemingly mundane life of So Mun takes a drastic turn as his body changes (curly hair now included) and he starts to show a talent for his new role.

The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine
On the outside, Ailette Rodeline is an adorable child prodigy. Cooking, brewing tea, alchemy; you name it, she can do it. But this little girl has a big secret: Ailette is a transmigrator! After dying prematurely in her past life, she becomes a character whose world is destined for destruction. With all odds stacked against her, Ailette must figure out how to survive before her life is ripped from her again. Fortunately for her, she finds her salvation in… an insurance package?

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint

Armed with this realization, Dokja uses his understanding to change the course of the story, and the world, as he knows it.

In addition to the manhwa, the novel for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint will also be published in English.
